The world’s largest trade fair for top-quality German wines – the VDP Weinbörse – opens its doors on 28 and 29 April 2013 in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz. Some 170 VDP estates will be on hand to meet with their most important customers, i.e. the wholesale/retail trade, hospitality industry and exporters.

THE BALKANS INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITON – http://balkanswine.eu/en/ – is open to wine producers from the Balkan Peninsula, Central and Eastern Europe, Black Sea region, as well as to wine producers from any other wine region.
The competition will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, Grand Hotel Sofia, Bulgaria, on 16-17 May 2013.
This wine competition is one of the very few in Europe that lean closer to the Australian Wine Show model, allowing for a better evaluation of the competing wines. (more)
