- A very common description for full-bodied Zinfandel wines. A “jammy” wine is one that reminds you of jam, not only because of taste but mainly because of its plumpness.
- Jeroboam (Jerobaum)
- Wine bottle with a capacity of 3 liters (or 4 bottles). See Double Magnum.
- Joven
- Spanish for young. It is used for wines that are not aged at all or that are aged for less time than the required time for the wine to be labeled “Crianza”.
- Jug wine
- American term for inexpensive table wine.
